I have used my 45/90 roller in the past for a sure (LOL) kill! on antelope. I have designed a cast bullet mostly for buffalo hunting, but it works well on these prairie goats. it doesn't open up, I don't think. Mostly just a .45 caliber hole thru both sides.

My working load is 88.0 gr. of 1.5 Swiss, or OE and the bullet goes into 4" @ 200 yds, with open sights.

Checked rifles, packing duds, gear, boolits, knives, tags etc. for trip to WY next month. Looking forward to seein' friends. And maybe look ol' speed-goat right in the eye Big Grin!

Long range forecast says it will be cooling down and maybe some moisture, double check the clothing list. Could be 50 and snowing, or could be tank top and flip flop weather....

Time is getting close. You guys have a great time.

I didn't get any tags for Illinois this year. I have deer in the yard as well as Turkey's, But I will settle for squirrel on a stick over a wood camp fire this year.

Might get a bow tag if I get hungry. Smile
