RE: The Quigley
Mike.

Wes is a good competitor and I hope he don't take it out on me that I took some hits away from him by rubbing his head. Smile

I enjoyed spending time with you.

Thanks Kurt, it was great seeing all the gang again. I'll have to remember to bring some pictures you show you next year. Shoot sharp, Mike

RE: The Quigley
Hahaha.. Kurt, If I can share some luck I am willing...sure wasn't much luck for me at the offhand!!Big Grin I may have to try rubbing my own head if it helped you that much...that was some damn fine shooting my friend!!!

Wind or no wind, would not have helped me on my first 2 offhand shots...I got so excited that I just "Yarded" on my trigger!!! Then I started to laugh and calm down and things came back together for me and I think I hit the next 3. I had one shot effort that I only saw the target pass behind my sight 1 time while the barrel drifted around in the breeze..

Shooting next to Mike with that 44-90 was quite an experience...That is one loud gun!! And him shooting with no recoil pad!!!..just made my shoulder ache..lol But watching the smile build on Mikes face as he connected with his bucket hits made the whole trip worth while!

The dust from Sunday was indescribable for anyone that was not standing on the offhand line when it started up!!! I think I am going to have to pay property taxes on the 1/2 acre of dirt I brought home on my rifle!Big Grin

RE: The Quigley
Hey Wes, You know that hitting the bucket was the only reason I went to Quigley this year! Making at least one of those shots count was my goal. And, just between you and me and the gate post, I did get smacked in the teeth with my thumb on one of those offhand shots. Next year you should shoot my .44/90 at least a couple of times on the sighting-in days. It will only make you want one... Shoot sharp, Mike
