My casting days are over!

I got my oldest son casting bullets today for his 50-70 Sharps. I have three younger sons as well. Praying my casting days are coming to an end....or at least until they are all out of the house haha.

RE: My casting days are over!
Stephen Carolyn asked me a couple days ago if she could help me out by casting for me. I thanked her and said I have enough time to get a few done and loaded in time for us to take off Smile

It was fun to have Kaleb cast today. He did real well after about thirty bullets. I will have him whipped into shape real soon!

I think so too. We might shoot the gong match in Casper in May. It will be just barrel sights, nothing fancy, more trigger time for him at various ranges with the 50.

If I ever go shoot another gong match it'll likely be with the ladder sights. It's just for fun, and there's not much more fun shooting than dinging a gong with the ladder sights. If I get all my silloutte swingers built and up, may even see about swatting sillouttes with the ladders..

Sounds like fun Don. I told my son some of the ranges we will be shooting at. His eyes got real big. He looked at me and said, Dad, I've never shot that far before how am I gonna hit the target, haha. I told him by pulling the trigger, if you miss you miss, learn from it and adjust.

DD, I just got my shipment of 50# of pure lead from Baco today. Might have to ground my son so he doesn't cast it all up to fast.

Stephen, casting it up fast is not the problem......The problem is when he starts shooting it up fast!
