2016 Colorado Rifle Club BPTR schedule
Here's the schedule for the monthly matches at CRC

2016 Colorado Rifle Club Byers, cO
Black Powder Target Rifle Long and Mid-Range Matches
may 8 oct. 18 Long Range June 5 600 yards
July 3 Nationals warm-up 600 & 1000 yards
NRA black powder target rifle rules will be followed for all matches. Use of open bolt indicators is encouraged but not required
• fees: $15 for all competitors. Non-members will be required to sign a crc liability waiver.
• course of fire: Long Range matches will consist of unlimited sighters and 15 shots for score at 800, 900, and 1000 yards. Sighters are not convertible. Shooter must announce when they are going for score.
• 600 yard match will be 4 sighters and 10 shots for score shot three times for a 300 Point possible aggregate.
• Nationals warm-up will be one or two 10 shot 600 yard strings and one or two 10 shot 1000 yard strings to be determined by shooters choice before the match.
• There will be no sight-in period before the match. Pair or string firing is allowed.

Pair firing is when both shooters on a target shoot basically at the same time. String firing is shooter A takes his/her shots during an time allotment, and then shooter B shoots.
