Utah State BPCRS match

RE: Utah State BPCRS match
Keep in mind those rifle rules were put together almost 40 years ago.
The fact of the matter is there are a ton of CPA rifles out there on the silhouette ranges. Matter of fact the last one we bought has 2 nationals stickers on the butt...
Don't sweat the small stuff, even if a rifle isn't legal , most match directors will welcome the person to shoot, they may or may not let the rifle be eligible for awards..

Ya just like my Master classification I made in 2011 and I have shot several since then out of the masters score and they still have not changed my classification. I don't know why the match directors have to sent them the $5 per shooter for a registered match or what ever the cost now to them for the paper work if they don't completely do their job.
I don't sweat the small stuff Don. If they say that I cant use one rifle because it is 1/2 oz over weight I will pull out another and if I get a crooked look I will pack up Smile

Kurt you have to shoot 5 consecutive full matches below your Master class then you can petition to be put into the class you shoot in, but until you've fired 300 shots for score ( 5- 60 shot matches) below that master class they're not going to change you, and then they will only change you if your request it. And if they grant the lower class, if you ever shoot a master score again, they'll put you right back up there and you can't be lowered again.
If they just changed folks willy nilly they'ld never have anybody classed right. Take a look at the Raton nationals score, the number of master class shooters that get caught in those winds and shoot Marksman and Sharpshooter scores....
