In their blood!
These are two of my seven grandkids! The earliest girl is only six years old at this time so I haven't had time to teach her much except The Lord's Prayer. These other two, in addition to their brothers I have had on the range with my SP rifles and I can tell you that you would not want either one shooting at you from 1200 yards with a 30/06 I've had them shooting! One on left is gonna be a Nurse Anesthetist and the one on the right has her Salon business and doing great! Anna, on the left is a deer/turkey slayer and Larkin recently fired me 15 shots from 1200 yards that went into the ten ring...all but 3 shots which were nines using my '06 target rifle! They paid attention to the instruction I've given them since eight years of age. Their brothers are equal to them in marksmanship training! Think I'm proud??

RE: In their blood!
That's pretty cool Rick. Maybe you ought to get them behind the stock on one of them sharps rifles..

Nah! If truth be known they took more after Grandma Angie then Rick. Smile

Well Rick them gals are fine looking and quite accomplished shooters. But any gal that can handle turkey loads recoil isn't gonna be too abused by a 12-13 lb hb 45-70. You been looking for a good excuse to get another rifle and the grandkids looks to me to be a handy excuse. Shiloh has got some real nice ones in inventory right now. All them kids and their parents could shoot the same gun at your range for family shoots. Think of the fun you get in working the new loads up and watching that?. bobw
