Miller Bobcat welder
Got a bit of a work out this eveningBig Grin Schlagels got our sillouettes and feet cut. Went in to town and got them after dinner. Got all the chickens and pigs done, couple of rams and turkeys done.. Used about 1/2 box of 7018 already.Cool

That 7018 makes a good LH drag rod it leaves a good bead. I retired my coffee grinder and got a 250 amp Miller wire. Sure is a pleasure to use it.

Last time I drug a 7018 rod I ran a really nice bead right beside the crack I was trying to weld. Cant get the right distance with my bifocals anymore.

They cut these so the legs fit in a slot on the base. Should be solid as a rock, even if I used the buzz box and 6013.

That's why I keep a cheap pair of 3X reading glasses on the welder !! Also why I use an auto darkening helmet. I can start in the right place and hit what I'm aiming at..Big Grin

So that's what I'm doing wrong. Wonder if BACo stocks auto darkening helmets for me to try at the Q. Sort of a short Darth Vader with a 1870's light sabre. Big GrinTongue
