RE: Starline 50 90 brass
Eric.
A little suggestion. Anneal your cases and when you load the short cases with your GG bullets, set your seating die a little tight and roll just a slight crimp over the front driving band, this will stretch them slightly. I would not start trimming till you fire them a few times.
I have stretched mine as much as .040" after a couple firings. Just don't roll that crimp to much when you just put a fresh anneal on them.

Just don't roll the crimp to much the first time.

RE: Starline 50 90 brass
Eric.
I shot all of the powder out there in my .50 except the old Elephant. All shot well in my .50 except the Diamond powder.
Swiss 1.5 98 gr shot well, 110gr of the old 2f goex The 2 f Goex express was my favorite with a 110 gr load. When the EXP was discontinued I switched to 100 gr of 2F KIK also 100 gr of 1.5 KIK. 2F Olde Eynsford shoots very good in the .50.
Now my rifle is the Shiloh with a 22 twist and I shoot a very long just under a 1.5 inch Brooks Creedmoor nosed bullet that weighs 718 gr and one just like it that is a hollow point the same length but it weighs 685 gr and both have shot dollar size groups and better some times @ 200 yards.
My .50 will just about digest any powder type or load and shoot it well but I don't shoot the short lite bullets in it.

As expected, the missing brass from my recent order arrived on Monday. Great company and efficient customer service! Annealed them and decided as long as I was at it to do the remaining 60 pieces. All we need now is the rifle and some bullets to load. Rifle was scheduled for delivery to my dealer yesterday... so? I have GOEX 1 fg and 2 pounds of old Dupont glazed 1 fg. Anyone have results with current Swiss, KIK, of GOEX 1 fg? Will have to put together a small sample order
Howdy Eric
I HAVE a Pedersoli Big 50 ,have shot most all of the modern Black Powders an have settled on the Goex 2f ,I was shooting only a RCBS
.515 it cast out at 550 grs. size them to .514 using Dan T's NAPA
lube for years , I just got a BACO mould 625gr. money bullet that cast
out to 632 grs., I'm still messing with it.
