corn bread is good , out here a 7 course meal is a six pack and a puppy dog,, the only squirrels are the prarie guppys that burrow underground , I heard they are good in a stew but havent had the privalage of trying them that way , they are best seasoned with cammas root,

I don't think Yankees eat squirrels! Neither do they partake of cornbread and black-eyed peas!!

Nope we let the cats take care of the rodents. People food here starts at about 250lbs on the hoof.

I just got back from the cabin. It was really warm on Monday afternoon, t-shirt weather. This morning I see that they got a nice dump of snow just after I left :-). Looks like my timing was perfect.
