RE: snow
Well it was a rough winter so I guess we will have a rough spring too.

Carol just got a warning on her phone that a large tornado just went past east of us and it's still on the ground. Dead calm here now.

RE: snow
Wow, that's a close call for you guys. I'm glad you are OK.

We don't really get any weather here except endless rain mostly :-). My wife is worried for me an her new trailer when I go to Wyoming at the end of May. She's been reading about these tornados.

I lived near Windsor Ontario as a kid. We had some good storms there. I remember the sky turning green. They get a few tornados too.

Chris.

RE: snow
That tornado went just east of my Sons place. I knew that we where in for a blow when the sky turned green. We had 2" hail winds gusting 80 mph and heavy rain, but the real heavy stuff went east of us.
Over the years I seen 5 tornadoes on the ground from my place, one a 1/2 mile off to the west of me tearing up corn fields but missed buildings. one went just to the east and hit town 4 miles away. The year before I build this house one went over my hill and took some trees.
All is calm this morning with no winds and the sun is out. The grass also turned green over night. Smile going to be a nice day.

Kurt
