Thoughts on the Creedmoor bullets of old

I never really liked either the .45 or the .50 mould not because of the bullet profile but I didn't make the diameter wide enough for my liking. They are .008" under bore and I like to patch mine at .003 over bore diameter and that would mean using thicker paper.
I now have a .445 Metford swage die that I swage .500 grain bullets for the .45-70 and it is doing very good. Waiting for some long range shooting in a few months to see how it holds together.
