Doc shot the old Farmer

RE: Doc shot the old Farmer
Bob we're shooting my Heilman sight on that rifle. The sight that came on it was one of those cheapo Italian "creedmoor" sights, on a short base and missing one of the "windage" screws.
So once we figure out what bullet/bullets he's going to shoot we'll get a mechanical zero, but at the moment the paper patch bullets were shooting to the right of the greasers, but we weren't horribly concerned about windage adjustment as the winds were gusting pretty hard from time to time from the left, or switching back and catching us head on.
We're also going to have to decide if he's going to stick with that fixed pin front sight or if we go with a sight we can change aperatures..
Lots of ground to cover yet, but at least we got him started on it.
