LDPE wads and paper patching

I've been using a 0.060" Veg King and 0.060" LDPE wad in my .45-70 for shooting paper patched bullets and it seems to work pretty well but I might have to rethink it a bit. I've tried the LDPE wads in my .45-110's but had odd flyers sometimes. Today I ran a two loads over the chronograph and found something interesting.

Both loads used Norma cases, Winchester LR primers, and a .444 BACO Money bullet patched to bore diameter.

Load A used 105gr of Goex Fg, 0.060" Veg King wad, 0.125" lube cookie, 0.030" Veg King. This is my current "standard" load for my CSA 1874.

Load B used 110gr of Goex Fg, 0.060" Veg King wad, 0.060" LDPE wad.

Load A averaged 1362 fps and was very consistent. I expected load B with 5gr more powder to be a little bit quicker, but it averaged only 1297 fps! There were a few weird flyers maybe 4 moa away from the core (200m) group.

I happened to look down, and somehow the wind had blown one of my LDPE wads back so that it had landed right in front of my toe! Looking at the wad it appears that it burned through a bit on one edge. I guess it must not have sealed as well as the lube cookie and I expect that this is where the missing 65 fps went.

I know that some of you have messed with different wad stacks before. Have you ever seen anything like this?
