Here's his disrciption of it as cast in the picture.
Overall length is 1.097" ..or close enough to 1.1"
..as cast is .447 diameter ..base , second and third driving band.
..the top band with the taper to the nose..is also .447" but only for about .015"..then it tapers off quickly to the nose which is running at .433 for approximately 1/4" inch before the ogive and finishing at a meplat of .2".
Man Don @ .433 it will have a lot of slop ahead of the case mouth and when it gets pushed in the hinder when the charge gets lit up there might be a lot of weird things going on as it flies down range???
But it will make a good bullet for shooting dirty.
Kurt I think with the taper coming off that first band , in a standard Shiloh chamber it'll chamber up fine with all the lube grooves covered.
We'll know more about the thing and how it shoots when Mike gets his blocks in a couple weeks.
