Don't suppose there's any reason to put the skiis on and come shoot with you today.

It wouldn't have mattered if Brian gave you his "wrong powder" load. He is shooting a completely different bullet.
If it were me, I'd go back to the 300 yd target and go up in powder at one gr increments till that load at that distance fell apart then try the highest accurate load at 680. Then start tweaking that load if it shows good results at 680.
