If I were going to make brass specifically for patched bullet shooting in the 45 2.1- 2.4, trimming down Norma basic works well. It's to thick in the walls at that point to allow for seating a patched bullet.
I have to do that for the long chambered Italian rifle I have (2.3). I asked Jamison once about their 2 7/8 brass and they said it would be to thick when trimmed that far back to allow for grease groove bullets, but should allow bore diameter patched without much fuss.
