Even the 12/15 was specifically made for prone work, it's a pig offhand. I stuck a counterweight in the stockbolt hole to correct the balance, but even then.
My Mk. V is even worse, it is a prone or bench rifle, period.
A Mk. IV ISU would be also a decent offhand rifle.
And yes, the triggers on the Intl. s are better indeed, but that doesn't mean the 12/15 is bad.
I actually use it as my winter training rifle for my 32-20 BPTR, built on the same action.
