I like my Lyman mag 25 when your down with it just unplug it and all is well
If I want to change alloy or drain the pot for an occasional cleaning just put the ingot pot underneath the spout and drain it.
The only thing with this one is I had to set the temperature to 820 to get the alloy to what my thermometer says is 775
