the fore end screws will also affect your output , they should only be snug if this is a shiloh not tight, and they are different lengths , if they get reversed they can do things as well. IIRC

thanks for the tip, the most forward screw was banjo tight, the rear one was snug

now both of them are snug, waiting for the wind in West Tennessee to lay. I will be sending my favorite load down range soon
