It's been quiet here

Don, Thanks for having me.

I retired a few years ago and moved to Montana from Texas. I had been looking for some nice land for several years making trips to Wyoming and Montana. I finally bough some land a little South of Forsyth. When I was getting ready to move one of my friends at a local F-class match asked me where I was moving to in Montana. He new the are well and told me I need to check out the Quigley match. As It turned out my neighbor has a Sharps and asked me if I want to go check it out and grab a burger there. I said sure. I had never messed with BP before but always loved the looks of the Sharps Rifles (You know except the Borchart rifles lol.) Any way I love shooting long ranges and was admiring all the nice rifles. We watch for a while and then had a burger. A $4000 burger..... the burger was actually only $10 or so but I had to factor in the cost of the new Sharps... Since then we went in and bought swaging equipment to make the best bullets for who will be two of the worst shooter at next years Quigley Match.

I have learned a lot since then and really like shooting paper patch bullets that we make ourselves. I have another Sharps on order in 45-90.. The first was a 45-70..
