That should make a fine long range shooter. The .45-90 is a good caliber.

If it wouldn't take so long getting one build I would probably order one in the .44-77 or the .44-75 Ballard using my reamer for it. Getting behind my Axtell 77 feels different than getting behind a 74. The grip and the smaller wrist just feels good but at 10# the .45-2.6 gets a little punishing after a box of rounds is empty Smile the 2.6 is to much of a good thing.
