MVA Scope Suggestions

RE: MVA Scope Suggestions
If you really want a longer scope, I'd advise giving some thought to the 28" one. I have one of those on one of my rifles ( with the Creedmoor mounts ) and like it, just not quite as much as I like the 23" with DZ mounts. I've heard some people complain about the front lens getting dirty if it's too close to the muzzle. I haven't had that on my 28" one but I could see it on the full length ones.

Another thing to think about is the weight of the scope. That won't matter much unless you end up trying silhouette. The longer scopes are pretty heavy and make it harder to be steady shooting offhand.

Oh yeah, another thing :-), the reticles on those scopes are easy to change, so you can always change your mind and order a different reticle cell later and swap it yourself.

Chris.
