Thanks for posting the pics Stephen, the photo of the round is one I extracted from the rifle after I reloaded it after shooting the buck, The Ol Dead Guys knew what they were doing, this rifle and load reloaded dirty and extracted without a hitch, plus, the fouling was still moist and soft, saying a lot about RDNCKS Black Magic lube cookie as well,

The load is the same as the Sharps factory load, a simple 100 grains of 1F, it works, the other photo of the shell belt shows the rest of the paper patch ammo I brought today and how it survived just fine under my wool coat in no less than 2.5 hrs of rain, saying a bit about Don and Kurts treatment of jojoba oil on the patches after loading to help protect them, all lessons learned, then tried to complete satisfaction today.

Thank You too Sir, i'll bust this old rifle out again should another Buffalo hunt come up, I can't think of a more fitting weapon I own for such a task, the old Gent I got this rifle from informed me the rifle hunted deer, elk, bear, buffalo and man in his Grandpa's hands, quiet a history, and as RDNCK has said, I wish these old rifles could talk to us, I'd pull up a log with about 4 good Cuban smokes in my shirt pocket, a bottle of 12 year Glenmorangie, with ears and eyes open, and mouth shut ; ]
