RE: Look what followed me home
Will be a 45-70. It sure will be! When I finally pass on it will go along with the rest to my nephew along with instructions on loading and care. Have been recording load info so he knows what to feed the rifles. He has loaded ammo and patched bullets so is familiar with the process. He is blessed with 2 fine boys so they will find a very good home. Mostly range time and steel matches as I find it very difficult to last out more than a 1 day shoot anymore. It's not so much the cancer as the chemo that sucks the strength out of one. (Oh, I finally seem to have mastered dry patching after a bit of practice so will be moving to that system now). Distant Thunder long range front and MVA Shiloh 77 rear base on order so I'll be ready to run some rounds when received. Of all of my firearms, the Sharps rifles have a special place in my life.
