I found that the 3f OE was to fast to be of much use in anything other than making handgun cartridges stand up and pay attention. It will shake the screws loose on model P colts in short order.
Need to find some time to try the 1f OE in the 44, it works really well in the 40-90 bn so long as it's compressed a bit, other wise it fouls pretty heavy.
Bottleneck cartridges are a bit different animal than the johnny come lately straight wall cases, as that bottle neck forces the powder burn thru a smaller hole, thus increasing pressure, much like putting your thumb over the end of a garden hose.
