You amy be right, Kurt but after playing with this rifle a while and doing a bit more research, I find that some of these only held 4 rounds, the originals that is. I will fiddle with this a bit more and see if I can not find another couple thousandths somewhere in that magazine and lifting mechanism. The rifle sure does plant 215 grain bullets in nice little clusters. A peabody remake of the Lyman 21 is getting grafted to the receiver so my old eyes will have a peep sight.
