OH Grasshopper M-2 don't cut the .40-65 Peders short I know two fellers that have them in the .40-65 and they sure like the way they shoot.
I have reamers I had made for 44's, .45's and the .40 and all have worked out well for me. To me it is worth getting a reamer made for my intended use and they all turned out better then I was hoping for. Yes they are rifle specific as far as cases not being interchangeable between rifles of the same caliber, you have to keep the cases separate and don't mix them or you might have to use a cleaning rod when your on line because a case might be to large fired from the other same caliber rifle.
It's kinda nice when all you have to do is shoot clean the brass reprime stuff in the powder and twist a patched bullet in the case. No sizing, crimping, no annealing.
