There are a number of those 40-90's in various museums around this part of the country. The one I wonder about the most was in a north eastern Colorado museum that was inundated by the big floods on the South Platte. It was a gorgeous rifle with factory checkering etc,, would be a shame if that rifle's bore got filled with Denver silt.
If things come together, I may have this rifle along for the Dean Scoggins memorial match,, would be happy to let you fondle and fire it.
