Kenny Wasserburger termed the 40-90 as the 7 mag of the 1870's,,, he may be on to something there.

Good info Don! I read about another buff hunter that used 40-90 BN also but don't remember his name. Having shot that one of Wild Bill's at 600 yards, I know it gets there quicker than most BPCR calibers. Old Kenny came up with a pretty good term for it. Makes me want to get one now Smile
