Klaus, Yes, the Buffalo targets are used only at 50 yards. The "black" bullseye measures 6" across. And we use the version with two bullseyes, both 6" in diameter, because we shoot five shots at each of them. Shooting 10 rounds at 50 yards often produces a tight group that can't be easily scored if it is all on one bullseye. Shooting only 5 rounds at each bullseye makes things easier for our scorekeeper.
And fouling control is up to each shooter. We have shooters who just use the blow tubes and other shoots who wipe between shots. Our shooting relays have no time limits so wiping between shots doesn't slow anybody down at all.
Good doin's! I'm glad to hear that others might be trying some of these short range matches. They're fun. Shoot sharp, Mike

thx a lot for your huge info in this case.
one question about your " Buffalo Target "
do you use them just for the short 50 yrd Range only and what are the inner circle measured here?
I see that there are two Bulls on the Paper.
due to the fact that we can not sitting on the ground we have to change some points of the originial rules but this will be going ok.
did you allow wipping between the shots or blowtubing only?
