RE: Any reason not to try this paper
randy,
the paper should be good for patching bullets.
patched dry, it will make your bullet oversize as kurt says.
only a trial will tell what diameter the bullets will be when wet patched with some stretch, but they will be smaller than when dry patched.
you need to try it in your gun.
if the bullet is tight in the bore, it can push back on the powder on chambering the round, altering compression.
it is hard to load pp ammo with enough neck tension to avoid this.
if this paper fits, it is tougher than seth cole.
8lb seth cole will add 0.005 when patched wet.
2 boxes is nearly enough to invest in a smaller mould - there are a lot of patches there.
either that or a ch4d sider die.
one issue with "corraseable" or "eraseable" paper is the coating on it that allows spelling corrections.
when wet patching, some of these coatings have been known to glue layers of patch together, or even glue the patch to the bullet.
again, only a trial will tell.
keep safe,
bruce.
