Wiping technique

I hope it works well for you. I like wiping much more than blow tubing. Another thing to experiment with is the type of patches to use. I did a test where I took a bunch of different patch brands, made a stack of ten of each and weighed them dry vs saturated with water. Some patches hold a lot more water than others. The new Arsenal patches held the least, and the big Shiloh 3" cotton ones held by far the most.

Most of the time I am using 2" square cotton ones as they are easy to get locally, but when shooting in warm temps ( 85+ ) I like those big 3" ones.
