That's pretty much it. If you get leading, then experiment with damp/dry you are leaving the bore. In really hot weather I'll push three wet patches, but in cool weather two is good. In chronograph testing you'll see that the number of patches, will affect velocity SD. I've never had good results with a single patch when trying to minimize SD.

You might like the Tipton brushes more than the Dewey ones.
