Yes, I am aware of the drill press. I also have a little lathe I could chuck it up in. I was reading on the Hadley cup it only opens up to .115 that's not quite 9/64"(.140). I think I need all the light I can get. My main problem is that 1/2 hour before and after daylight. I can't seem to be able to find the front sight. I understand the less variables the better. That is why I am shying away from the scope. It doesn't sound like the scope is the answer anyway. I have an extra eye cup to just in case I screw it up.
