Full length scope

I have a 9 1/2 pound rifle with a MVA 28" scope with the centerless mill dot reticle. I was pleased with how well it stood up the rough usage during a 15 day hunt. The only mechanical problem I had was the crosshairs tended to twist with the torqueing rifle. A light rifle firing 110 grains of 2f and a 500 grain bullet would twist the cross hairs with a couple of shots. My heavier rifles never move the reticle. Using the centerless mill dots I had a build in 100, 150, and 200 yard aim point. Anything over those distances required a sight adjustment. My PH wanted to use the rife to take a leopard, so we tried the scope out in low light. I was far more successful using the ivory front and open rear sight at dusk than with the scope. The small diameter tube just don't have the ability to collect enough light. I did not try to take a leopard with the MVA scope.
