HI Mike. I gently rolled the patch in SPG just before firing..the group was 1 3/4 inches at 50, and the wet and dry patch after each firing was considerably easier to push through the bore. very little SPG too.
I'm just curious. I'm going to try a felt wad next along with an 060 wad over the powder.

OK..as long as we're talking lube on patches. What is everyone's experience on a 1/8 SPG cookie. bullet, newspaper wad, SPG cookie, .060 walters wad. Loaded and ready to test next week.
How is the accuracy with the cookies??? Ken
