Had the lead mine happen to me too,when trying the bore wiper setup with grease grooves. With the M-Pro 7. I do not believe you can shoot grease grooves on a dry bore,especially in extreme hot weather. I will try them with a slightly damp patch following. I had carbon layer on lead,on carbon on lead and so on. Took three days to clean it out using every technique available to the modern shooter. For pp of course they would be the ticket. But I like their quick useage and design,just not on a clean dry bore shot after shot! Randy E.
