My niece came in from California this past weekend and Sunday afternoon I spent two hours with her in an indoor pistol range in West Monroe, La. She was in the US Army for two years....sent to language school and she learned Russian in six months and speaks it fluently! She advised me that she hasn't ever been exposed to handguns and living in California....that's understandable! After showing her proper grip and trigger control procedure I drew her an outline of how the sights should look explaining that the vision should be upon the front sight at shot break with the target being somewhat a blurr! She shot several strings of ten rounds and I was pleasantly surprised even at the beginning as this gal listens to what she is told! She threatened to SHOOT ME if I posted a photo of her as she's got her face screwed up in the photo but take a look at her last ten shots! Only nine show...but there are ten in the target. This was at 15 yards. She's going to continue instruction at an indoor facility near Lake Elsinore where she lives!
