just took my own advice

an interesting observation.
confetti was good as expected from the gaintwist barrel.
compared to the 45/2.4 with a straight twist barrel it was more totally cut into strips.
what is different in both barrels to when using fixed ammo is that the folded under the base bit was still joined to the fingers made by the rifling.
the bases of breech seated bullets do not have to pass over the transition as they do with fixed ammo.
possibly this is where they are removed.
the 40/72 has a 7 degree transition, and the 2.4 has a 45 degree.
could this be part of the reason why breech seated shows superior accuracy?
