RE: My findings with the paper patched bullet
I will be testing the Accurate 50-590P this week in Lucrezia. Patching them with BACO blue rag bond paper and they are a very nice fit in the fire formed brass. CCI BR primers 100 grains of GOEX 1 fg, .060 fiber with a lubed felt wad and a milk carton plastic wad compressed to .420. The bullet is seated snug and will turn but not move forward when shaken. Patching this two diameter bullet was not difficult and they really look good. These are wet patched and half will be shot dry and the half shot with a trace of lube on the paper. I managed to sample two light bullets and the bulk of the run weighed 584 grains. I have not experimented with lube on the patch before so something new to try. We will see how they fly!
