44-77 PP Loads
Made some PP loads for my original Remington #1 in 44-77. I used some of the Baco 432-400 bullets with their 9# paper, 72gr 2f goex, card wad and .15 lube wad under the bullet. Was surprised how well they shot. Was able to shoot 6-7 times before it got hard to chamber and accuracy got bad. The bullets are .432 and measure about .438 wrapped. The .438 size might be a little small as they slide through the bore very easily, a bullet .434 wrapped to .440 might be a closer fit. Wish Baco sold bullets from there .434 size molds so I could test them before buying the mold. Looking for mold suggestions. Also might try some of the OE powder, 1.5 or 2F?

Thanks, Jim
