There is just something about a Gemmer conversion. It don't matter if it's a sharps or trapdoor or what ever. It's just perfect for hunting with a rod and all!! Mike is right! it needs a patch box. Smile
Good work Gus.

I been looking at my 74 Hartford .44-77 thinking about adding a rod. It is a hunting rifle.
