it would be interesting to see a photo with the device not measuring where the joint is.
it almost looks like the patch slightly overlaps, which would make the diameter 0.0015 bigger.
kokomid,
size matters.
0.002 undersize will shoot a good core group with fliers.
0.001 undersize will put more shots in the core group with less fliers.
a tight fit will have next to no fliers, almost all in the core group.
of course you still have to be able to chamber the round, so there is a limit to tightness.
and if you are blowtubing a smaller bullet suits better, but this will not shoot as well as wiping correctly and a fat bullet with thin paper.
best accuracy of all will come with breech seating a really tight bullet with the optimum airgap.
