Kurt, that doesn't sound like a bad way to hold but I would think it would take a little practice to get used to. On the roller with the Snover sight I am not sure if that hold will work but I will keep it in mind and give it a try when I get out next. I don't think, or at least I don't remember having any trouble with my hold when I had my Parts Unknown sight on the roller. Since I have options on the sights, I will play with them to see which one feels and works out the best. The one big upside to the Snover is that its just 1 large thumb nut and the sight slides out of the base and right into the other. My other sight is a little more involved in swaping it from one gun to another.
