Snow in Australia is pretty much restricted to the ranges in the north of Victoria & virtually the same ranges in the south of New South Wales. There are pockets where it may appear from time to time but it becomes a news item when it does. Where I am the temperatures are often in the 40' plus range ( centigrade) so about 103-105 F in the summer and will sometimes get to -6 C ( 21 F ) in the winter. Hardly extreme by U.S. standards but lack of water has always been an issue for this continent. No snow melts to feed the grass or the rivers. We rely heavily on the rain for our moisture. Short answer Don ? ...No snow where I am. We have a few elevated areas within about a half hours drive and they sometimes catch a light fall... and then half the town drives up to have a look
