Another possible answer, particularly in this "cooler" weather the shooter has 2-3 or more layers of clothing on. Therefore the butt stock may have effective longer pull. The butt placement may not be felt to place it the same. I'll also share with you that since I tore up my right shoulder last summer and have had Rotator surgery my "learning curve" has hit the restart button. This past month or so I've finally been able to work up to full LR target loads (530 gr 45 cal.). However today usually shooting outside requires heavy coats etc. there have been some variations in results too. So as you see I'm blaming said variation (from deadeye center) on conditions and I'm sticking to it Wink
