RE: Uberti 1876 winnie
I have a Chappy in 45-75. I guess I am one of the lucky fellows that has not had any problems with their rifles, from what I read on the interweb. Mine has been reliable and very accurate. I use 350 gr bullet from BACO 68 grs of 2FG Kik and a .030 card wad. Routinely get 2 inch groups at 130 yards. I replaced the sights with a Marble flat top rear sight on which I filed a new wider notch to match the wider front blade I put on. Makes a world of difference when you can see the wide front sight with lots of light on the rear notch.
