Am thinking on a 14# barrel for my 44-90 bn on order form Shiloh. They will do a 34"er for me. It will be PP only. This rifle will be used for creedmoor.
What say you all-- pros and con's.
Well Don, I did 8000 reps on one of my dillon 1050's loading blanks today and I shoot the 120 off hand but it is only 14# 11 oz. If I get the 14# bull barrel it will bring the total up to 18# or so

RE: Bull Barrel
I have one of them chambered in 2&7/8 and it is a fine offhand gun ,especially in the wind.
off the sticks there isnt any better the weight absorbs the push and it really sets your sticks into the ground, I love mineby the way.
Thanks Powderburner, I am calling lucinda in the morn and take the leap. There is a pattern starting to show here Long wait for rifle. Find more $$$ and order more options.

Bob & Mike, Thanks--Nice rifle but i am going with Shiloh and a PP only chamber. My 40-70 ss is a C-sharps and a good shooter but the workmanship on my 45-120 Shiloh puts it to shame.
