Jim it is interesting how some 22 ammo does out of different rifles when you get to and beyond 150 meters. Ideally you should be getting 3 minute or less groups at 200.
That's an official sized 22bpcr ram at 200 meters. My CPA rifle with the 28 inch Douglas barrel shooting Norma match. Interestingly enough my wife CSA lowall with it's 26 in. #2 weight McGowen barrel will spray that same ammo all over the place at the rams, as will my CSA lowall with the fast twist 28 in. McGowen barrel.
My original Stevens with the heavy factory round barrel will shoot Aquila Rifle match extremely well, but all the other rifles around here are ambivilent about it.
The Winchester/miroku lowall really likes SK rifle match, but every thing else but the stevens sort of sprays and prays it.
My lowall shoots Lapua Mida's reasonably well, but shows a definite preference for Center x, and the other day put 5 shots on that ram swinger you could cover with a 50 cent piece shooting the Wincehester Superx t22,,
So far it's looking like both Carol's and my rifle both get along well at the rams, shooting the Remington/Eley target ammo. Hopefully that trend will continue so we can keep just one ammo around to feed both rifles.
Carol's rifle absolutely hates both of the Lapua ammo's.
I did get ahold of 2 boxes of fresh CCI green tag and ran some thru my lo wall, albeit only at 25 yards so far, would shoot bug hole groups with it from the bench..
Moral of the story, jump on one of the mail order houses web site's and order up 2-3 boxes of several brands of ammo, and see what your rifle tells you it likes the best.
