2017 NW Regional Championships in Missoula, MT

Posting to announce the upcoming 2017 Northwest (Montana) Regional Championship BPCR Match held at the Deep Creek Range near Missoula, MT. Here are links to the Match Program as well as the Entry form:

A small change from last year in that we will be having a 40 shot Scope match on Friday rather than a 60 shot match. It was extra work to make it a 60 shot match and most shooters felt they would just as well shot a 40 shot match instead. Everything else is basically the same as last year.

NOTE: This year my wife's business, Quiltworx, will contribute another quilt for the High Lady shooter in Iron Sight Match. So come on lady shooters to compete for one of my wife's highly prized quilts!!!

There may be a possibility for Thursday to include a .22 BPCR match and/or some Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette matches (small bore, pistol, and rifle). The Deep Creek Range is talking about expanding the 50, 100, and 150 meter berms and if so I think I can come up with enough targets to make this happen. I will announce this later once we see how the range is working out.

--------- Deep Creek Range near Missoula, MT.
--------- Sponsored by Hellgate Civilian Shooters organization.

Dates:
--------- Thursday, June 15th: Range open for practice.
--------- Friday, June 16th: 40 Shot Scope Match
--------- Saturday and Sunday, June 17th and 18th: Two 40 shot matches with an 80 shot two day Aggregate Iron Sight Match

Saturday Potluck Meal:
----- There will be a no-charge Potluck dinner Saturday evening at the range with the Hellgate Civilian Shooters Club supplying the hamburger and hot dogs. Everyone else can bring what they wish. Everyone is invited including spouses, children, and traveling companions. We will also be handing out the door prizes after the Potluck.

AWARDS:
----- There will be awards in the form of plaques and/or prizes in the form of merchandise depending on the donations received by the match date. Awards for each match will be presented at the end of each day as follows:

--------- Friday Scope Match: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for Overall, Master, AAA, AA, A, and B classes.
-------------- Special awards: High Super Senior, High Senior, High Woman, and High Junior if applicable.

--------- Saturday Iron Sight Match: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall only.
--------- Sunday Iron Sight Match: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall only.
--------- Sunday Iron Sight Aggregate Match: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for Overall, Master, AAA, AA, A, and B classes.
-------------- Special awards: High Super Senior, High Senior, High Woman, and High Junior if applicable.

They didn't get the berms done so no 22 match this year but maybe next!! Got to tempt you Don so you will make the trip!
